Hello everyone,

It would seem that no one wishes to explain why there have been comments on our page that includes thank-yous for favs. Also, the club is going on indefinite suspension because I found that someone added a deviation to our favorites without telling me.

As a result, submissions are CLOSED. No one can log in to submit artwork. Until submissions are reopened, just post the links to your galleries/artworks and visit each other's pages.

I'm very sorry to have to do this, because I know how unfair it is to punish those of you who have followed the rules perfectly, but I don't want the club to be banned, and this is the only way I can prevent that.

Contests - Because the avatar contest died, I'm just going to ask someone to make us a nice icon.

I recently learned of the death of a showjumping legend: Gem Twist. I would like to hold a tribute contest in memory of this beautiful, talented Silver Medal-winning athlete.

How does a Christmas/winter/holiday contest sound? I need feedback from my mods especially, but if anyone wants a contest, say "aye!" and if not, then say "ney."

EDIT: To everyone who wants to join, READ THE RULES!!!. Membership requests made in page comments will not be considered. It's not that we don't want you to join, because we do, but there are rules in place and we expect them to be followed. Please respect the rules. The link to the journal with the rules for joining is at the top and bottom of this journal. It should be very easy to spot because it says "Joining."

Why do we insist upon receiving notes from people who want to join? First, we hardly check page comments, so the chances of your request being seen are very slim. Second, current members like to post links to their horse-related art or horse-related art that they find elsewhere on deviantART. The links they provide won't be seen if people keep requesting membership in comments.

I'm done, though I do expect the joining rules to be respected/followed.
