Welcome to Equine-Tendency!

#equine-tendency is an equine art group dedicated to uniting horse enthusiasts all over dA. It was founded by ~jaded-harbor and ~exdream2k5 in 2003 and grew from there.

This section will serve as a directory as time goes on and things are updated. Until then...it's going to look kind of sad and empty.

~EmrT has asked that we help promote her contest celebrating the Andalusian stallion, Bolero. Here is the information, straight from ~EmrT and ~Bolero-L's blogs!

THE MEDIUM
- Any - ALL types of art form will be excepted!

THE RULES
- It must be Bolero, although he doesn't have to be the main subject
- You can gather stock from either site [link] or [link]
- Only your imagination is your limit - you can keep it traditional or turn him into anything you fancy (as long as he still looks like a horse!)
- judging will be done on originality, creativity and likeness.
- Three entries per person!

Send your entry link to the Bolerol gallery ~Bolero-L and ~EmrT will add it into the favorites folder. You may title your art as you wish.

The Submission Process

We have been getting lots of submission requests in the last few weeks, which is very exciting to see! Unfortunately, not all of those submissions adhere to our rules and have to be turned down. Please take a few moments to review our (very short!) list of rules here: [link]

I feel the need to stress that this group is NOT appropriate for cell phone, blurry, or otherwise "point-and-shoot" photography. Photos submitted to out group should reflect at least some consideration of color, form, and technique. We've got some GREAT submissions in the photography section of our group if you'd like to see what we're looking for.

We are also not a place for uploading Work-In-Progress (WIP) images; there are several great groups on DA that are happy to accept WIPs for critique. If you have submitted a WIP image to this group and have been turned down, please know that you are still very welcome to submit the work for consideration once it has been completed.
